These following terms and conditions apply to individuals who are accessing or using the Program both as a merchant (“we” or “merchant”) and an affiliate (“you” or “affiliate”) who refers customers to use products or services from the merchant.

By participating in the Program, Affiliate agrees to use the Program in the manner specified in, and are bound by, these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, you are not authorized to register as an Affiliate or participate in the Program in any manner.

1. Registration Approval: We reserve the right to approve or reject any Affiliate Program Registration at our sole discretion. The rejection of your Affiliate Program Registration shall not be subject to legal recourse.
   
   
2. Affiliate Links and Coupons: An affiliate link will be automatically generated for you, and you may also create affiliate links for specific products or collections. If a person clicks on someone else's referral link and subsequently clicks on yours, only your link will be credited.
   
   Affiliates may promote the merchant website through online channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, as well as offline classified channel ads, magazines, and newspapers.

3. Commissions and Payments: When you refer a customer who makes a purchase on our website using your referral link or coupon code, you will receive a commission calculated based on our Commission structure. The commission amount is determined by the order value, excluding additional fees (tax, shipping cost, etc.).
   
   To receive a commission, the customer's enrollment must be successful and they must have used your referral link or coupon code during the purchase. Commission payments will be made 30 days after the customer's enrollment, provided that the customer has not withdrawn. Payment will be sent to the Affiliate's specified payment details in the Settings.
   
   To ensure fairness and adherence to our terms and conditions, discounts and commissions cannot be combined or duplicated. Doubling up of discounts or commissions in any circumstances is strictly prohibited.
   
   Upon registering as an affiliate, you will be assigned a unique coupon code along with comprehensive information and instructions accessible through your personalized Dashboard. When a customer uses your affiliate link and applies the assigned coupon code during their purchase, they will receive a 10% discount on the applicable products or services. As the affiliate, you will receive a commission according to our agreed-upon terms.
   
   No retroactive commissions or discounts will be applied. Affiliates will not receive a commission for their own orders. 
   
   All orders must be placed online and paid in full. The Affiliate Program is subject to a fair use policy, allowing the merchant to review each referral order. Commissions will not be paid for transactions resulting in chargebacks or refunds.
   
   The Commission tab will display the status of your commissions, and any paid commissions will be listed in the Payment tab.

4. Marketing Tools: We may provide promotional media such as banners, logos, or specific collection promotions through the Marketing tool tab. You can download the media or obtain the HTML embed code to share on your affiliate channels.
   
   
5. Cookies: We use cookies to track individuals who have clicked on your affiliate link. To track them, users must enable cookies on their devices. If a person does not allow or clears their cookies, we cannot track their activity, and earnings cannot be paid on that person's activity.
   
   Cookies will remain valid for the duration specified in the Affiliate registration form. The tracking period begins when a customer clicks on the affiliate's link or uses the coupon. Within the cookie time, any orders placed by the customer on the merchant website will automatically result in commissions for the affiliate, without the need for the customer to click on the affiliate link again.
   
   
6. Removal from the Referral Program: If an affiliate wishes to be removed from the affiliate program, they can contact us at studentservices@aliveacademy.com. We reserve the right to remove an affiliate without notice or reason.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to our privacy practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. By continuing to use our affiliate program after these changes are posted, you agree to the revised policy.

Personal Information Controller

Any personal information provided to or collected by Alive Academy under this Privacy Notice will be stored and controlled by Alive Academy (the data controller).

Information collected from Merchants

When merchants use our app, we automatically access certain types of information from their Shopify account, such as email, first name, last name, shop information (shop domain, shop currency, shop address, etc.). We collect this information to provide services such as confirming your identity, contacting you, providing customer support, and offering advertising and marketing activities.

Information collected from Affiliates

When an affiliate signs up to join a program, we collect information such as email, personal information, payment details, and social network information to inform merchants. This information helps merchants evaluate an affiliate's background and potential, process specific activities within the app, and contact the affiliate if needed.

Information collected from Customers when visiting merchant website

In order to track referral orders, when customers visit a merchant's website and make a purchase, the Alive Academy system collects information about the order, such as the total order, order items, and order ID.

About Cookies

Cookies are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier.

Cookies are created when a user's browser loads a particular website. The website sends information to the browser, which then creates a text file. Every time the user goes back to the same website, the browser retrieves and sends this file to the website's server.

Because cookies allow you to take advantage of some of the Affiliate marketing system's essential features, we recommend that you leave them turned on.

Information Sharing

Ensuring your privacy is important to us. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this privacy policy. We may share your personal information with third-party service providers whom we employ to process specific functions, such as providing email marketing activity, analyzing data, and other marketing support. Third-party service providers have access to personal information only as needed to perform their functions, and they must process the personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose your personal information to any third party with your prior consent.

Use of Alive Academy app by Children

Alive Academy's affiliate marketing system is not intended for children. If you are under 13, you may use the system only with the supervision of your parent or guardian.

Your Rights

Alive Academy understands that you have rights over your personal information and takes reasonable steps to allow you to access, correct, amend, delete, port, or limit the use of your personal information. If you are using the system and wish to exercise these rights, please contact us through studentservices@aliveacademy.com. We may require that you provide us with acceptable verification of your identity before providing access to such information.

If you are an affiliate and wish to exercise these rights, please contact the merchant you interacted with directly. We serve as a processor on their behalf and can only forward your request to them to allow them to respond.
