This Privacy Policy describes how All The Fauna LLC ("All The Fauna," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the All The Fauna Nonprofit Funding Program ("Program"). It applies to organizations that apply to or participate in the Program as Partners, and to customers who visit or purchase from allthefauna.com.

1. WHO CONTROLS YOUR DATA
All The Fauna LLC is the data controller for personal information collected in connection with the Program. All The Fauna LLC is a California limited liability company operating at allthefauna.com.
All The Fauna uses UpPromote (Secomapp) as a third-party platform to manage Shopping Links, referral tracking, and funding payments. UpPromote processes personal information as a data processor on behalf of All The Fauna — it is not an independent data controller under this Policy. UpPromote's own privacy practices are described separately at uppromote.com.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
From Program applicants and Partners:
When an organization applies to or participates in the Program, we collect: organization name, contact name and email address, website and social media URLs, PayPal payment details for funding disbursements, and any additional information voluntarily provided during registration. This information is used to evaluate eligibility, manage the Partner relationship, process funding payments, and communicate about the Program.
From customers visiting allthefauna.com:
To track referral orders, we collect order-level data when a customer makes a purchase through a Partner's Shopping Link. This includes total order value, order items, and order ID. We do not collect or store customer payment card information — that is handled directly by Shopify's payment infrastructure.
Automatically through cookies and tracking technologies:
When a customer clicks a Partner's Shopping Link, UpPromote places a browser cookie to track the referral session. This cookie contains an anonymous identifier and persists for 30 days. 3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
- Evaluate and process Program applications
- Manage Partner accounts and Shopping Link attribution
- Calculate, approve, and disburse funding payments
- Communicate with Partners about their account, program updates, and payment status
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
- Detect and prevent fraud, self-referrals, or abuse of the Program
- Improve the Program and allthefauna.com

4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as described below:
Service providers:
We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Program, including UpPromote (referral tracking and payment management), Shopify (e-commerce platform), Printify (order fulfillment), Klaviyo (email communications), and PayPal or Venmo (payment processing). Each provider receives only the information necessary to perform their specific function and is required to handle it in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Legal requirements:
We may disclose personal information when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
Business transfers:
If All The Fauna is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected parties of any such change in ownership.

5. DATA RETENTION
We retain Partner account information for as long as the Partner participates in the Program and for a reasonable period afterward, consistent with our legal obligations. Specifically:
- Active Partner account data is retained for the duration of participation plus three years following termination.
- Referral order data is retained for seven years to comply with applicable tax and financial recordkeeping requirements.
- Application data for organizations not approved to the Program is retained for one year and then deleted.
Partners may request deletion of their personal information at any time, subject to our legal retention obligations.

6. DATA SECURITY
All The Fauna takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encrypted connections (HTTPS) across allthefauna.com, limited access to personal information, and working only with service providers who maintain appropriate security standards.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Right to Opt Out of Sale: All The Fauna does not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA. You do not need to opt out.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA right.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Program is intended for organizations, not individuals, and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

10. COOKIES AND TRACKING
We use cookies solely to track referral sessions initiated through Partner Shopping Links. These cookies are functional and necessary for the Program to operate. You may disable cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to browse or purchase at allthefauna.com, but referral credit cannot be attributed to a Partner whose Shopping Link you clicked.

11. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Program and allthefauna.com may contain links to third-party websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active Partners of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. The updated policy will be posted at allthefauna.com with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued participation in the Program after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
