Available exclusively to Aboriginal Art Centres is our referral program. It allows centres across Australia to benefit directly from sales on ART ARK®, even if they don’t already sell with us. Through this program, art centres can earn an additional 20% referral commission on any referred sale (excluding GST). For example, if a centre refers one of their own artists, they can receive their standard 60% wholesale share plus 20% referral commission - up to 80% of the retail price. This initiative ensures that more funds flow back to Aboriginal communities, creating new income streams and making every purchase through ART ARK® even more meaningful.

ART ARK® Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions

Welcome to ART ARK®. Thank you for your interest in our Affiliate Program.

These Terms and Conditions apply to individuals or organisations participating in the program as affiliates (“you”) who refer customers to ART ARK® (“we” or “us”). By joining the program, you agree to abide by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not participate.

1. Acceptance into the Program

We reserve the right to approve or decline any affiliate application at our sole discretion. There is no legal recourse for a rejected application.

2. Affiliate Links and Coupons

Your affiliate link is automatically generated and can be customised to direct to specific products or collections.

If a customer clicks multiple affiliate links, the last link clicked will receive credit.
If you have been assigned a coupon code, it will be visible in your dashboard.
You may not promote any coupon that hasn’t been assigned to you.

Affiliates are welcome to share their links on digital channels such as social media or email, and traditional channels such as print and community networks.

3. Commissions and Payment

You will earn a commission on successful sales referred through your link, based on the commission structure set out in your dashboard. Commissions are calculated on the order total, excluding GST, shipping, or additional fees.

Payments are made based on completed orders only. Cancelled, refunded, or chargeback transactions are not eligible.
You must provide valid payment details in your settings to receive payouts.

Referral commissions are paid monthly, at the end of each month.

Commission and payment status is visible in your dashboard.

4. Marketing Tools

We may provide you with promotional assets (e.g. banners, logos, and campaign images) via the “Marketing” section of your dashboard. You may use these to promote ART ARK® across your channels.

5. Referral Network (if enabled)

If the network feature is activated, you may invite others to join the program under your referral. You’ll earn a network commission when your referred affiliates generate sales. The rate will be set out in your dashboard.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies to track referral activity. If users disable or clear cookies, tracking may not work and commissions may not be recorded.

The cookie duration is stated at sign-up. If a customer makes a purchase within that period, even on a later visit, you’ll receive credit — no additional clicks are required.

7. Leaving the Program

You can leave the program at any time by emailing us at guy@artark.com.au.

From Affiliates:

From Customers:
When a customer clicks your referral link and makes a purchase, we track order details such as order total, items purchased, and order ID to credit your referral correctly. This tracking is anonymous and does not include personal customer details.

From Merchants (us):
We may access basic store details via Shopify to run the program, such as store name, email, and location. This information stays with us and is not shared with affiliates or third parties unless required to operate the program.

Cookies

Cookies are used to track referrals and ensure you receive credit for sales. Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can disable them in your settings. However, disabling cookies may affect how referrals are tracked.

Data Use and Sharing

We only use your data to operate the affiliate program. We do not sell or share your personal data except:

  • With trusted service providers who help us run the program (e.g., UpPromote)

  • If legally required or with your consent

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at guy@artark.com.au. We may ask for ID verification before processing such requests.
