Welcome to Coco Village! Thank you for joining our Affiliate Program. 

These Terms and Conditions apply to individuals who are accessing or using the Program both as a merchant (“Merchant”, “we”, “us”) and an affiliate (“Affiliate”, “you”, “your”) who refers customers to use products or services from us. 

By participating in the Program, you agree to use the Program as specified in, and are bound by, these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, you are not authorized to register as an Affiliate or participate in the Program in any manner. 

1. Registration Approval or Rejection 

We reserve the right to approve or reject any Affiliate Program Registration at our sole and absolute discretion. You will have no legal recourse against us for the rejection of your Affiliate Program Registration. 

2. Affiliate Links and Coupons 

Affiliate links are automatically generated, but you can also generate a link for a specific product or collection. If a customer clicks on another affiliate’s link before clicking on yours, your link will be the one that counts. 

You may be assigned a coupon code with details specified on your Dashboard. If a customer uses both the affiliate link and the coupon code, you will not receive a double commission. If you are not assigned a branded coupon, you are not permitted to promote the coupon. 

You may advertise our website on online channels such as Facebook, Instagram, etc., or through offline channels such as classified ads, magazines, and newspapers. 

3. Commissions and Payments 

Refer customers to make purchases on our website and earn commissions, calculated based on the Commission structure. Commission amounts are based on order value and do not include additional fees (tax, shipping costs, etc.). 

For you to receive a commission, payment details must be specified in Settings. Payment schedules are provided on the Affiliate Guide page. 

Payments are made only for transactions that have been successfully completed. Using the Affiliate Program is subject to a fair use policy that allows us to review each referral order. The status of commissions is displayed in the Commission tab, and any paid commissions are listed on the Payment tab. Transactions that result in chargebacks or refunds will not be paid out. 

4. Affiliate Duties and Compliance 

Affiliates are responsible for the operation and maintenance of their affiliated sites, including technical operations, accurate reporting, links, and document validity. 

Affiliates must ensure their sites do not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights or violate other legal rights. 

We may monitor your account and the traffic from your affiliated sites. If we determine that you are not compliant with any of these terms, we reserve the right to terminate the agreement immediately without notice. 

You must comply with all applicable statutes, regulations, and guidelines established by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), as well as those of any country, state, or local government as mandated. The FTC requires that affiliate relationships, such as yours with us, be disclosed to consumers on your sites. 

5. Deliverables 

Following the receipt of each PRODUCT PACKAGE, and within a maximum of thirty (30) days, you must produce and publish at least ONE of the following content element: 

In all cases, a review with image(s) of each product received is required. Reviews must be posted directly on the product pages on our website: www.cocovillage.com.

Editorial content accompanying any posts must include the following: 

7. Social Media Engagement 

It is highly recommended that you interact on Coco Village’s social media platforms (especially Instagram) by liking, commenting, and sharing our posts weekly. Such engagement is encouraged and appreciated.

8. Content Durability 

The content (posts and/or videos) must remain on your platforms as long as you operate said platforms. If content is removed without written permission from Coco Village, we may require the return of the products provided to you at your expense. 

9. Sponsored Post Program - Partnership Identification 

If your content is selected, Coco Village may "sponsor" it to reach a wider audience, benefiting both you and Coco Village. If selected, we will contact you to modify the post to identify the content as a partnership with Coco Village. 

10. Intellectual Property 

You retain intellectual property rights over the content you create and publish. However, you grant Coco Village an unlimited lifetime usage right to the content. 

11. Shipping Costs and Other Fees Associated with Products 

Coco Village offers PRODUCT PACKAGES free of charge to you. We cover the transportation of PRODUCT PACKAGES and customs duties where applicable. Any state, provincial, local, or municipal taxes due at the time of receipt of the PRODUCT PACKAGES must be covered by you. 

12. Default 

Failure to comply with any provision of this contract constitutes a default. An Affiliate in default of this contract must immediately return the PRODUCT PACKAGES at their expense, in new condition, upon simple request from Coco Village. 

13. Marketing Tools 

We may share promotional media such as banners, logos, or specific collection promotions with you through the Marketing Tools tab. You can download the media or get the HTML embed code to share on affiliate channels. 

14. Network 

If the Network tab is activated, you can invite others to become your downline affiliate. If any downline affiliate generates an order at our shop, the upline affiliate will also receive a network commission, dependent on our settings. 

To invite other affiliates into the system, share the network link, and anyone who clicks on that link and signs up will become a downline affiliate. 

15. Cookies 

We use cookies to track people who have clicked on your link. For us to track them, they must be using cookies. If a person doesn't allow cookies or clears their cookies, we cannot track them, and therefore, cannot pay earnings on that person's activity. 

Cookie duration is specified on the Affiliate registration form. The tracking day starts from the time a customer clicks on an affiliate’s link or uses a coupon. Within the cookie time, every order made by this customer on our website will automatically result in commissions for the affiliate. 

16. Removal from Referral Program 

If you wish to be removed from the affiliate program, you may do so by contacting collab@cocovillage.com. 

17. Company Reputation 

The reputation of Coco Village is of utmost importance. You must not, in any way or at any time (including after your participation in this Affiliate Program has ended), make adverse comments (whether orally or in writing) regarding Coco Village, our products, our management, our staff, or our customers. 

18. Confidentiality 

This contract and its contents are strictly confidential and may only be shared with the legal representatives of the parties involved. 

19. Default 

Failure to comply with any provision of this contract constitutes a default. An Affiliate in default must immediately return the PRODUCT PACKAGES at their expense, in new condition, upon simple request from Coco Village.
