These following terms and conditions apply to individuals who are accessing or using the Program both as a merchant (“we” or “merchant”) and an affiliate (“you” or “affiliate”) who refers customers to use product or service from the merchant.
By participating in the Program, Affiliate agrees to use the Program in the manner specified in, and are bound by, these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety you are not authorized to register as an Affiliate or participate in the Program in any manner.
1. Registration & Eligibility
We reserve the right to approve or reject ANY Affiliate Program Registration in our sole and absolute discretion.
1.1 Geographic Eligibility:Participation in the EVORETRO Affiliate Program is currently restricted to residents of Canada and the United States. If we detect that an affiliate has used a VPN or proxy to bypass geographic restrictions or falsify their location, the account will be terminated and commissions forfeited.
1.2 Content Requirement:To be approved, you must provide a valid link to an active content platform (e.g., Blog, YouTube, Social Media, Twitch). The content must be relevant to our niche (Gaming, Retro Gaming, Collectibles, Tech, or Pop Culture).
Proof of Ownership: We reserve the right to verify that you own the social media channel you submitted.
No "Blind" Affiliates: Accounts created solely to generate personal discounts or without a verified traffic source will be rejected.
2. Affiliate Links & Coupons
Links:An affiliate link is automatically generated, but you can also generate an affiliate link for a specific product or collection. If a person clicks on someone else’s referral link and then later they click on yours, yours is the one that counts (Last-click attribution).
Coupons:Affiliate might or might not be assigned to one coupon code with details and usage clarified on the Dashboard. If a customer both clicks on the affiliate link and uses a coupon code, you will not receive a double commission. If you’re not assigned a branded coupon, then you’re not allowed to promote the coupon.
Restricted Coupon Policy:
No Coupon Aggregators: You are prohibited from posting your affiliate link or coupon code on "coupon sites," "deal forums," or any third-party website whose primary purpose is listing discount codes.
No Auto-Apply Links: You are prohibited from using "Shareable Discount Links" (URLs that automatically apply the discount code to the cart) on public websites.
3. RESTRICTED: Pay-Per-Click (PPC) & Ad Hijacking
Affiliates may advertise on online channels (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), HOWEVER, to protect our brand integrity and organic search presence, the following is STRICTLY PROHIBITED:
NO Brand Bidding: You are NOT allowed to bid on keywords containing "EVORETRO," or any misspellings, variations, or combinations thereof (e.g., "Evoretro Canada," "Evoretro Discount," "Evo Retro Cases") on Google Ads, Bing, or any other search engine.
NO Direct Linking: You may not place the EVORETRO website URL as the "Display URL" or "Destination URL" in any paid ad. All paid traffic must go to your own content page (a "bridge page") first.
Negative Keywords: If you run generic product ads (e.g., "Video Game Protectors"), you must add "EVORETRO" as a Negative Keyword to ensure your ads do not appear for branded searches.
Violation of this section will result in immediate termination and forfeiture of all commissions.
4. Commissions and Payment
Refer any customer to make a purchase on our website, you will get a commission amount which is calculated based on Commission structure. Commission amount is dependent on order value and not including extra fee (tax, shipping cost, etc.).
For an Affiliate to receive a commission, you need to specify the payment details on Settings. Payment schedule will be notified on Affiliate Guide page. Payments will only be sent for transactions that have been successfully completed. Use of the Affiliate Program is subject to a fair use policy which gives merchant the right to review each and every referral order. Status of commission is displayed in the Commission tab; any paid commission will be listed on the Payment tab.
Strict Identity Matching (Anti-Fraud):
Legal Entity Matching: The name on your Affiliate Account must match the Legal Name or Registered Business Name on your PayPal account.
One PayPal per Account: A single PayPal address cannot be used across multiple affiliate accounts. If we detect that multiple affiliate profiles are attempting to withdraw funds to the same PayPal address (to abuse bonus tiers), all associated accounts will be terminated.
5. Eligible & Excluded Orders
To be eligible for commission, an order must meet the following criteria:
Valid Order:The order must be a genuine purchase made by a customer who:
Clicked on the Affiliate's unique link; OR
Used the Affiliate's unique coupon code (if applicable).
Completed Order:The order must be successfully processed and fulfilled by the merchant.
Approved Order:The merchant reserves the right to review and approve orders for commission eligibility. Orders may be disapproved for reasons such as fraud, returns, cancellations, or if they do not meet the merchant's specific criteria.
Excluded Orders (NO COMMISSION):The following orders are generally not eligible for commission:
Wholesale & B2B Orders: Orders placed by existing EVORETRO merchants, retailers, resellers, or distributors themselves or their employees. (Accounts receiving wholesale pricing/discounts cannot also earn affiliate commissions).
Fraudulent Activities: Orders resulting from violations of these Terms and Conditions (including PPC Brand Bidding violations).
6. Marketing Tool
We may share promotion media such as banner, logo or specific collection promotion to you through Marketing tool tab. You can download the media or get the HTML embed code in order to share on affiliate channels.
7. Network
If Network tab is activated, affiliate can invite others to become their downline affiliate. If any downline affiliate brings order to merchant shop, upline affiliate will also get network commission which depends on merchant settings. To invite other affiliates into the system, share network link and any other affiliate who click on that link and sign up will become a downline affiliate.
8. Cookie
We use a cookie to track people who have clicked on your link, so they need to be using cookies for us to track them. If a person doesn't allow cookies or clears their cookies then we can't track them so can't pay earnings on that person's activity.Cookies day is said on the Affiliate registration form. The tracking day will start from the time a customer clicks on the affiliate’s link or use the coupon. Within the cookie time, every order made by this customer at merchant website will automatically result in commissions to the affiliate (There’s no need for the customer to click on the affiliate link then).
9. Removal from Referral Program
If an affiliate wishes to be removed from the affiliate program, they can do so by contacting: marketing@evoretro.com
Involuntary Removal: We reserve the right to remove any affiliate from the program at any time without prior notice if they violate these Terms, specifically regarding PPC bidding, coupon spamming, false identity, or fraudulent activities.
