Welcome to Friends of Finn! Thanks for joining Finn's Ambassador Program.

The following terms and conditions apply to all Friends of Finn Ambassadors who are accessing or using the Program both as a Finn (“we” or “merchant”) and an affiliate (“you” or “affiliate”) who refers customers to Finn.

By participating in Friends of Finn, the ambassador agrees to use the Friends of Finn Program in the manner specified in, and are bound by, these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety you are not authorized to register as an Affiliate or participate in Friends of Finn in any manner.

1. Approve or Reject of the Registration

We reserve the right to approve or reject ANY Friends of Finn Applications in our sole and absolute discretion. You will have no legal recourse against us for the rejection of your Friends of Finn Program Registration.

2. Friends of Finn Ambassador Coupons

Ambassadors are assigned to one coupon code with details and usage clarified on Dashboard. Ambassador coupons are valid for 10% off a customer's first order with Finn. Ambassadors are also provided with an individual, personalized 20% discount for all orders on petfinn.com intended for their own use. Ambassadors may not share this 20% off coupon. Unauthorized use of this personal discount code can result in being removed from the Friends of Finn program. Finn reserves the legal right to dissolve ambassador partnerships without prior notice. 

Ambassadors may also advertise Finn on online channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook... or offline classified channel ads, magazines, and newspapers.

3. Commissions, payment, and product

Ambassadors that refer a new customer to make a first purchase on our website will receive a flat-rate commission of $15. Commission amount is not dependent on order value and does not include extra fee (tax, shipping cost,...).To receive a commission, ambassadors must connect a payment method through UpPromote's Settings. Payment schedule will be notified on Affiliate Guide page. Tracking link referrals are not valid and will not result in a commission payout. Please direct customers to your unique discount code only.

Payments will only be sent for transactions that have been successfully completed. Participation in the Friends of Finn Program is subject to a fair use policy which gives Finn the right to review each and every referral order. Status of commission if displayed in Commission tab, any paid commission will be listed on Payment tab. Transactions that result in charge backs or refunds will not be paid out. 

Ambassadors are strictly forbidden from reselling any product acquired through Finn, both gifted and purchased. Giveaways, regifting, etc. of Finn products sent to an ambassador must be approved by Friends of Finn via email - friends@petfinn.com. Violation of these terms may result in immediate removal from Friends of Finn. 

4. Marketing tools and UGC

Finn has provided Ambassadors with content guides, product breakdowns, and more resources through UpPromote’s Marketing tool tab. Ambassadors are welcome to utilize all resources as desired. These resources are for Ambassadors only and may not be shared. Ambassadors may request additional resources via friends@petfinn.com as needed. Finn reserves the right to utilize user-generated content from the affiliate on their website, social media, and any other marketing initiatives.  

5. Cookie

We use a cookie to track people who have clicked on your link, so they need to be using cookies for us to track them.

If a person doesn't allow cookies or clears their cookies then we can't track them so can't pay earnings on that person's activity.

Cookies day is said on the Affiliate registration form. The tracking day will start from the time a customer uses the coupon. 

6. Removal from Referral Program

If a Friend of Finn Ambassador wishes to be removed from the program, they can do so by contacting: friends@petfinn.com.

This Privacy Policy of UpPromote about Affiliate Marketing system describes how we may collect and use personal data and the rights granted to merchants, affiliates and customers regarding their respective data.

By joining Friends of Finn, you signify your approval of the terms set out in this Privacy Policy, and other terms and conditions. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you must not use the affiliate marketing system.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our privacy practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. By continuing to our affiliate program after these changes are posted, you agree to the revised policy.

Personal Information Controller

Any personal information provided to or gathered by UpPromote under this Privacy Notice will be stored and controlled by UpPromote (the data controller).

Information collected from Merchants

When Finn uses the app, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account such as email, first name, last name, shop information (shop domain, shop currency, shop address …). We collect this information to provide you with our Services; for example, to confirm your identity, contact you, provide customer support when you contact us, provide you with advertising and marketing activities.

Information collected from Affiliates

When an Ambassador signs up to join Friends of Finn we collect some information such as email, personal information, payment details and social network information,...The information helps Finn evaluate ambassador background and potential, along with process specific activities within the app and contact affiliate if needed.

Information collected from Customers when visiting merchant website

In order to track referral order, when customers visit merchant website and make a purchase, UpPromote system will collect information of order such as total order, order items, order ID,....

About Cookies

“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier.

Cookies are created when a user's browser loads a particular website. The website sends information to the browser which then creates a text file. Every time the user goes back to the same website, the browser retrieves and sends this file to the website's server.

Because cookies allow you to take advantage of some of Affiliate marketing system’s essential features, we recommend that you leave them turned on.

Information sharing

Ensuring your privacy is important to us. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this privacy policy. We may share your personal information with third-party service providers who we employ to process specific functions; examples include providing email marketing activity, analyzing data and other marketing support,... Third-party service providers have access to personal information only as needed to perform their functions and they must process the personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose your personal information to any third party with your prior consent.

Use of UpPromote app by Children

UpPromote is not intended for children. If you are under 13, you may use the affiliate marketing system only with the supervision of your parent or guardian.

Your Rights

UpPromote understands that you have rights over your personal information, and takes reasonable steps to allow you to access, correct, amend, delete, port, or limit the use of your personal information. If you are using the system and wish to exercise these right, please contact us through friends@petfinn.com. We may require that you provide us with acceptable verification of your identity before providing access to such information.

If you are an affiliate and wish to exercise these rights, please contact the merchant you interacted with directly — we serve as a processor on their behalf, and can only forward your request to them to allow them to respond.
