These following terms and conditions apply to individuals who are accessing or using the Program both as a merchant ("we" or "merchant") and an affiliate ("you" or "affiliate") who refers customers to use products or services from the merchant.

By participating in the Program, affiliates agree to use the Program in the manner specified in, and are bound by, these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, you are not authorised to register as an affiliate or participate in the Program in any manner.

1. Eligibility
   • The affiliate program is open to individuals and businesses worldwide, provided they comply with applicable laws and regulations.
   • Participants must be at least 18 years old to join the program.
2. Approval or Rejection of Registration
   • We reserve the right to approve or reject any Affiliate Program registration at our sole and absolute discretion. You will have no legal recourse against us for the rejection of your Affiliate Program registration.
3. Affiliate Links and Promotion
   • Affiliate links are automatically generated, but affiliates can also generate a link for specific products or collections.
   • If a person clicks on someone else’s referral link and then later clicks on yours, the most recent link will be credited.
   • Affiliates may advertise the merchant's website on online platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, or through offline channels like classified ads, magazines, and newspapers.
4. Commission Structure
   • Affiliates earn a commission for each valid sale generated through their unique referral link or assigned coupon code.
   • Commissions are based on the order value excluding taxes, shipping costs, and any additional fees.
   • Commissions will only be paid on completed transactions (e.g., cancellations and refunds are not eligible).
5. Payments
   • Commissions are paid monthly, provided the affiliate reaches the minimum payout threshold of $60 AUD.
   • Payments will only be sent for transactions that have been successfully completed.
   • Affiliates are responsible for specifying their payment details and for any applicable taxes or fees associated with their earnings.
6. Marketing Tools
   • We may share promotional media such as banners, logos, or specific collection promotions through the Marketing Tools tab. Affiliates can download these materials or embed them using HTML code for promotional purposes.
7. Cookies
   • We use cookies to track people who have clicked on your link, so they need to have cookies enabled for tracking to occur.
   • If a person clears their cookies or disables them, we may not be able to track their activity, and commissions may not be attributed.
   • Cookies will remain active for 30 days from the time a customer clicks on the affiliate’s link or uses the coupon code.
8. Prohibited Activities
   • Affiliates may not:
     • Use unauthorised promotional methods, such as bidding on the company’s trademark in search engines.
     • Misrepresent the company’s products or make false claims.
     • Use unethical methods to drive traffic, including cookie stuffing or incentivised clicks.
   • Affiliates found in violation may be removed from the program, and commissions may be forfeited.
   • Affiliates must comply with the Spam Act 2003, ensuring all promotional messages are sent with consent.
9. Termination
   • Affiliates may terminate their participation at any time by providing written notice or contacting hello@globalstarlink.com.au.
   • The company reserves the right to terminate an affiliate’s account for breach of terms or inactivity.
10. Modification of Terms
    • The company may update these terms at any time, and affiliates will be notified of significant changes.
11. Limitation of Liability
    • The company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from participation in the affiliate program.

    • These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

5. Cookies
• Cookies are used to track referrals, enabling accurate commission calculations.
• Cookie duration is set at 30 days from the customer's first interaction with the affiliate's link or coupon.
• If a customer disables or clears cookies, tracking may not occur, and commissions may not be attributed.
• Affiliates must disclose the use of cookies to comply with Australian consumer law and privacy regulations.
6. Information Sharing
• Personal data is shared only with third parties essential for program operations, such as:
• Payment processors for commission payouts.
• Service providers who assist in marketing, data analysis, or other support activities.
• Third-party providers are required to handle data in compliance with this Privacy Policy.
• Personal data may also be disclosed if required by law or legal processes.
7. Your Rights
• Affiliates have the right to:
• Access, correct, or update their personal information.
• Request data deletion or restrict data processing.
• Withdraw consent for data collection at any time.
