Welcome to It's A Black Thang.com! Thank you for joining our Affiliate Program.
The following terms and conditions apply to individuals accessing or using the Program, both as a merchant ("we" or "merchant") and as an affiliate ("you" or "affiliate") who refers customers to the merchant's products or services.
By participating in the Program, the affiliate agrees to adhere to the Program as specified in these Terms and Conditions and is bound by them. If you do not fully agree to these Terms and Conditions, you are not authorized to register as an Affiliate or engage with the Program in any capacity.
1. Approve or Reject of the Registration
We reserve the right to approve or reject any Affiliate Program Registration in our sole and absolute discretion. You will have no legal recourse against us for the rejection of your Affiliate Program Registration.
2. Affiliate Links and Coupon
Your Affiliate link is automatically generated. You can post it on your website and it will link to our website. You can also generate an affiliate link that can direct a customer to a specific product or a collection of products. If a person clicks on someone else’s referral link and then later they click on yours, yours is the one that counts.
We can generate a unique coupon code for you, and if a customer uses it during their purchase, you will receive credit for the sale. The specifics and application of the coupon codes are detailed on the Affiliate Dashboard. Should a customer click on your affiliate link and use your coupon code, you will not earn double commissions; you will only receive the commission for the coupon.
Additionally, you can promote our website through social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X (formerly known as Twitter), TikTok, and LinkedIn. Advertising in traditional offline mediums such as classified ads, magazines, and newspapers are also effective channels.
3. Commissions and payment
If you refer a customer who makes a purchase on our website, you will receive a commission. The commission amount is calculated according to our Commission Structure and is based on the order value, excluding any additional fees such as tax and shipping costs.
To receive their commission, an Affiliate must specify their preferred payment method. The options available are PayPal, check, or debit card, and this selection is made in the payment details section of the Settings on the Affiliate dashboard. The payment schedule can be found on the Affiliate Guide page.
Commissions are generated solely for transactions that are successfully completed. Occasionally, an item may be on backorder, or a customer may cancel an order. The Affiliate Program is governed by a fair use policy, allowing the merchant to review each referral order. The status of commissions is displayed in the Commission tab, while any paid commissions are listed in the Payment tab. Should a commission be paid out and the transaction results in chargebacks or refunds, the commission will be recorded as negative and offset against future commissions until a positive balance is restored.
4. Marketing tools
Promotional materials, including website banners, logos, social media posts, and promotions for specific collections or products, will be made available to you via the Marketing Tool tab on the affiliate dashboard. You can either download these media assets or obtain the HTML embed code for sharing on your affiliate channels.
5. Network
We also provide a multi-level networking feature. When the Network tab is enabled, an affiliate can invite others to join as their downline affiliates. Should a downline affiliate generate a sale in the merchant's shop, the upline affiliate will receive a network commission based on the merchant's settings. The downline extends down two levels.
To recruit additional affiliates, distribute your network link; any affiliate who clicks on the link and registers will subsequently become your downline affiliate.
6. Cookie
We utilize a cookie to monitor individuals who have clicked on your link; therefore, they must enable cookies for us to track them.
If an individual disables cookies or deletes their cookies, then we are unable to track them, which means we cannot pay earnings for that person's activities. However, most internet users accept cookies, so this typically isn't a problem.
We employ a 30-day cookie. The tracking period begins when a customer clicks on the affiliate's link or uses the coupon. During this cookie period, any purchase made by this customer on the merchant's website will automatically generate commissions for the affiliate without the need for the customer to click on the affiliate link again.
7. Removal from Referral Program
If an affiliate wishes to be removed from the affiliate program, they can do so by contacting: kanespub@outlook.com.
Go forward and refer!
We're very glad you've made it to the end of this important document.
We wish you all the very best. You can always re-visit these Affiliate Program terms and conditions in the future and if you have any questions you can send email to kanespub@outlook.com for support.
