Affiliate Scheme – Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

The Affiliate Scheme (“the Scheme”) is offered exclusively to students who have successfully completed training with Leanne Slater Studios.

The purpose of the Scheme is to reward past students who recommend our training courses based on their own positive experience with the academy.

By joining the Scheme, participants agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the Affiliate Scheme you must:

• Have successfully completed at least one training course with Leanne Slater Studios

• Be in good standing with the academy

• Have received approval to join the Scheme

The academy reserves the right to approve or decline any application to the Scheme at its discretion.

3. Professional Alignment

Because the Scheme is based on genuine student experience:

• Affiliates are expected to actively offer the treatments they trained in with the academy.

• The Scheme is intended for individuals who genuinely support and represent the training they received.

The academy may decline or remove affiliates whose business activities do not reasonably align with the training they completed.

This helps ensure recommendations remain authentic and credible to potential students.

4. Referral Process

Affiliates will be provided with a unique referral code or referral method.

A referral will be considered valid if:

• The new student quotes the affiliate’s referral code at the time of booking

• The course is booked and paid for in full

Referrals cannot be applied retrospectively after a booking has been completed.

5. Use of Referral Codes

Referral codes are intended to be shared through genuine personal recommendations.

Affiliates must not publicly post or advertise their referral code online, including but not limited to:

• Social media posts

• Facebook groups

• Comment sections

• Forums

• Public advertisements

• Websites or link pages

Referral codes should be shared verbally or through private conversations or messages only, for example:

• Direct messages

• Private conversations with potential students

• One-to-one recommendations

This policy helps maintain the integrity of the academy’s brand and ensures the Scheme remains based on authentic recommendations rather than widespread public promotion.

Failure to follow this guideline may result in removal from the Scheme.

6. Self-Referrals and Commission Abuse

The Affiliate Scheme is designed to reward genuine recommendations that lead to new students joining the academy.

The following activities are not permitted:

• Self-referrals (using your own referral code for personal bookings)

• Referring individuals who were already in contact with the academy or had already planned to book

• Agreements to split or share commission with a referred student

• Any attempt to manipulate or misuse the referral system

Referral codes must only be used where a genuine recommendation has taken place prior to the student deciding to book.

The academy reserves the right to:

• Investigate suspicious referrals

• Decline or cancel commission payments where misuse is suspected

• Remove an affiliate from the Scheme if these terms are breached

Any decisions made by Leanne Slater Studios regarding referral validity will be final.

7. Commission

Affiliates will receive a commission for each valid referral.

Commission terms:

• Commission amount: Starting rate of 5%

• Commission is payable only after the referred student has:

  • Paid for the course in full

  • Attended or completed the training

Commission payments will be made via PayPal within 30 days of course completion.

The academy reserves the right to amend commission structures at any time.

8. Marketing and Representation

Affiliates must:

• Represent Leanne Slater Studios honestly and accurately

• Avoid making misleading claims about courses, qualifications, or outcomes

• Maintain professional conduct when promoting the academy

Affiliates must not:

• Run paid ads using the academy’s name without permission

• Misrepresent themselves as employees of the academy

• Use misleading sales tactics

9. Brand and Reputation

Affiliates must not engage in behaviour that could harm the reputation of Leanne Slater Studios, including:

• False claims about training

• Unprofessional conduct online

• Misuse of academy branding or materials

Failure to maintain professional standards may result in removal from the Scheme.

10. Termination of Participation

The academy reserves the right to:

• Remove any affiliate from the Scheme at any time

• Withhold commission if terms have been breached

• Modify or discontinue the Scheme at its discretion

Any valid referrals made before termination may still be honoured at the academy’s discretion.

11. Changes to the Scheme

Leanne Slater Studios may update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Affiliates will be notified of any significant changes where possible.

Continued participation in the Scheme constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

Information collected from Merchants

When merchant uses the app, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account such as email, first name, last name, shop information (shop domain, shop currency, shop address …). We collect this information to provide you with our Services; for example, to confirm your identity, contact you, provide customer support when you contact us, provide you with advertising and marketing activities.

Information collected from Affiliates

When an Affiliate signs up to join a program, we collect some information to inform merchants such as email, personal information, payment details and social network information,...The information would help merchant evaluate affiliate background and potential, along with process specific activities within the app and contact affiliate if needed.

Information collected from Customers when visiting merchant website

In order to track referral order, when customers visit merchant website and make a purchase, UpPromote system will collect information of order such as total order, order items, order ID,....

Use of UpPromote app by Children

UpPromote is not intended for children. If you are under 13, you may use the affiliate marketing system only with the supervision of your parent or guardian.

UpPromote understands that you have rights over your personal information, and takes reasonable steps to allow you to access, correct, amend, delete, port, or limit the use of your personal information. We may require that you provide us with acceptable verification of your identity before providing access to such information.

If you are an affiliate and wish to exercise these rights, please contact the merchant you interacted with directly — we serve as a processor on their behalf, and can only forward your request to them to allow them to respond.
