These following terms and conditions apply to individuals who are accessing or using the Program both as a merchant (“we” or “merchant”) and an affiliate (“you” or “affiliate”) who refers customers to use product or service from the merchant.
By participating in the Program, Affiliate agrees to use the Program in the manner specified in, and are bound by, these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety you are not authorized to register as an Affiliate or participate in the Program in any manner.
1. Approve or Reject of the Registration
We reserve the right to approve or reject ANY Affiliate Program Registration in our sole and absolute discretion. You will have no legal recourse against us for the rejection of your Affiliate Program Registration.
AFFILIATE ELIGIBILITY & CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY:
While we do not require any brand exclusivity, our affiliate program is designed to be a trusted and transparent way for individuals to share and support our brand. To protect the integrity of the program and ensure fairness for all participants, we have established the following rules:
Anyone who is an owner or employed (full-time, part-time, or contract) by another brand or entity that produces mahjong products in the same or related industry may not join or participate as an affiliate.
Wholesale representatives, sales agents, or individuals acting on behalf of another brand are also ineligible to participate.
This policy ensures that our affiliate community is free from conflicts of interest and that all participants share our mission in good faith.
2. Affiliate Links and Coupon
Affiliate link is automatically generated, but you can also generate an affiliate link for a specific product or collection. If a person clicks on someone else’s referral link and then later they click on yours, yours is the one that counts.
Affiliate might or might not be assigned to one coupon code with details and usage clarified on Dashboard. If customer both click on the affiliate link and use coupon code, you will not receive a double commission. If you’re not assigned a branded coupon, then you’re not allowed to promote the coupon.
COUPON CODE USE POLICY
Affiliate-issued coupon codes are intended exclusively for use within the affiliate’s own audience (e.g., personal networks, students, social media followers, or community groups).
Prohibited Activity
- Affiliates may not submit, share, or distribute their codes to third-party coupon websites, deal aggregators, or discount directories.
- Codes may not be used in paid search ads, browser extensions, or other placements that misrepresent the affiliate relationship.
Enforcement
We periodically review coupon sites and aggregators for unauthorized listings of affiliate codes. If an affiliate’s code appears on such platforms, the code will be immediately changed (or revoked if it was directly submitted by the affiliate). While submitting codes to coupon sites is prohibited, we know many of these listings are created by bots - not by our affiliates. If that happens, you are still in good standing with us.
Our legal team is actively working to have these unauthorized listings removed, but from time to time code changes may still be necessary. If your code is ever changed due to scraping, please know we truly apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we protect both you and our brand.
3. Affiliate Gifts and Discounts:
As part of the affiliate program, you may be gifted and/or assigned discounts. These are offered in good faith and are intended to help you showcase our products, set you up with products to teach with and spread joy through your communities, enjoy personally or use in any of the following approved ways: offer as a gift (ideally in connection with your mahjong teaching brand/at an event), offer as prizes, for a giveaway to spread awareness for your business, as a donation to an event or a cause.
AFFILIATE GIFT & DISCOUNT – APPROPRIATE USE POLICY:
Any products purchased or received as part of the MFM affiliate program (i.e., purchased with affiliate discount code, through affiliate link, that earned commission, gifted to you through the program or purchased with the affiliate personal discount code) may only be used for personal (the affiliate only) or business (affiliate’s own teaching and/or mahjong business) purposes. Re-selling to anyone (any person, students, friends, family, etc.) in any method (in person, via email, online, etc), on any platform (Facebook marketplace, instagram, community buy/sell groups, pop-ups, eBay, etc.) is strictly prohibited and will result in the affiliate’s immediate removal from the affiliate program.
4. Commissions and payment
Refer any customer to make a purchase on our website, you will get a commission amount which is calculated based on Commission structure. Commission amount is dependent on order value and not including extra fee (tax, shipping cost,...).
For an Affiliate to receive a commission, you need to specify the payment details on Settings. Payment schedule will be notified on Affiliate Guide page.
Referrals will be reviewed for approval approximately 60 days after the transaction to allow time for returns to be processed.
Payments will only be sent for transactions that have been successfully completed and that meet our eligibility requirements. Ineligible purchases include those applied toward affiliate discounted or gifted products (you will see a denial/rejection notification following your redemption of an MFM affiliate gift or discount due to system limitations which automatically try to apply your commission/additional discount.
Use of the Affiliate Program is subject to a fair use policy which gives merchant the right to review each and every referral order. Status of commission if displayed in Commission tab, any paid commission will be listed on Payment tab. Transactions that result in charge backs or refunds will not be paid out.
My Fair Mahjong reserves the right to change the commission rate at any time, for any reason.
5. Marketing tool & Content
We may share promotion media such as banner, logo or specific collection promotion to you through Marketing tool tab. You can download the media or get the HTML embed code in order to share on affiliate channels.
We reserve the rights to use any content you produce with our products.
6. Network
If Network tab is activated, affiliate can invite others to become their downline affiliate. If any downline affiliate brings order to merchant shop, upline affiliate will also get network commission which depends on merchant settings.
To invite other affiliates into the system, share network link and any other affiliate who click on that link and sign up will become a downline affiliate.
7. Cookie
We use a cookie to track people who have clicked on your link, so they need to be using cookies for us to track them.
If a person doesn't allow cookies or clears their cookies then we can't track them so can't pay earnings on that person's activity.
Cookies day is said on the Affiliate registration form. The tracking day will start from the time a customer clicks on the affiliate’s link or use the coupon. Within the cookie time, every order made by this customer at merchant website will automatically result in commissions to the affiliate (There’s no need for the customer to click on the affiliate link then).
8. Removal from Referral Program
If an affiliate wishes to be removed from the affiliate program or feels they can no longer represent My Fair Mahjong through promotion for any reason, they can do so by contacting: myfairmahjong@gmail.com.
My Fair Mahjong will periodically review affiliate transactions and accounts and deactivate any accounts that are inactive or no longer meet our affiliate program requirements. In this situation, we welcome the affiliate to re-apply if activity is expected to increase again or their situation changes.
My Fair Mahjong reserves the right to remove any affiliate from the affiliate program for any reason.
