These Terms and Conditions apply to individuals who access or use the Affiliate Program, both as the merchant (“we,” “us,” or “Sted Chocolate”) and as an affiliate (“you” or “Affiliate”) who refers customers to purchase products from the merchant.
By participating in the Affiliate Program, you agree to use the Program in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, you are not authorized to register as an Affiliate or participate in the Program in any manner.
1. Approval or Rejection of Registration
We reserve the right to approve or reject any Affiliate Program registration at our sole and absolute discretion. You acknowledge that you have no legal recourse against us for the rejection of your Affiliate Program application.
2. Affiliate Links and Coupon Codes
Affiliate links are automatically generated. Affiliates may also generate affiliate links for specific products or collections.
If a customer clicks on multiple affiliate referral links, last-click attribution applies, meaning the most recent affiliate link clicked will receive credit for the referral.
Affiliates may or may not be assigned a unique coupon code. Coupon details and usage rules will be visible in the Affiliate Dashboard.
If a customer clicks an affiliate link and also uses a coupon code, commissions will not be doubled.
If you are not assigned a branded coupon code, you are not permitted to promote or use any coupon on behalf of Sted Chocolate.
Affiliates may promote the merchant’s website through online channels (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, blogs, and websites) or offline channels such as magazines or newspapers, provided such promotion complies with applicable laws and platform policies.
3. Commissions and Payments
Affiliates earn commissions when a referred customer completes a purchase on our website. Commission amounts are calculated according to the commission structure set by the merchant and are based on the order subtotal only, excluding taxes, shipping fees, tips, or other additional charges.
To receive commissions, Affiliates must provide valid payment details in their Affiliate Dashboard. Payment schedules and payout details will be communicated via the Affiliate Guide.
Payments will only be issued for transactions that are successfully completed and not refunded or charged back. The Affiliate Program is subject to a fair use policy, and Sted Chocolate reserves the right to review all referral orders.
Commission statuses are displayed in the Commissions tab. Paid commissions are listed in the Payments tab. Orders that result in refunds, chargebacks, or suspected fraud will not be eligible for commission payouts.
4. Marketing Tools
We may provide promotional materials such as banners, logos, or product assets through the Marketing Tools section of the Affiliate Dashboard. Affiliates may download these assets or use provided embed codes to promote Sted Chocolate on approved channels.
5. Network (If Enabled)
If the Network feature is enabled, Affiliates may invite others to join the Affiliate Program as downline affiliates. If a downline affiliate generates a qualifying sale, the upline affiliate may receive a network commission, based on merchant-defined settings.
To invite others, Affiliates may share their unique network link. Any individual who signs up using this link will be registered as a downline affiliate.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies to track referrals made through affiliate links or coupon codes. Customers must allow cookies for tracking to function properly.
If a customer disables or clears cookies, we may be unable to track their activity, and commissions may not be awarded for those purchases.
The cookie duration is specified on the Affiliate Registration page. Tracking begins when a customer clicks an affiliate link or uses an affiliate coupon code. During the cookie period, qualifying purchases made by the customer will generate commissions for the affiliate, even if the affiliate link is not clicked again.
7. Removal from the Affiliate Program
Affiliates may request removal from the Affiliate Program at any time by contacting us at josh@stedfoods.com
