Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to both affiliates ("you") and merchants ("we") participating in our Affiliate program. By engaging with our program, you agree to adhere to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from registering as an Affiliate and participating in the Program.

1. Registration Approval or Rejection

We hold the right to approve or reject Affiliate Program Registrations at our sole discretion. Rejection of your Affiliate Program Registration will not hold us liable or be subject to legal recourse.

2. Affiliate Links and Coupons

Affiliate links are generated automatically, but you can also create links for specific products or collections. If a user clicks on another person's referral link before yours, only yours will be considered.

Affiliates may or may not be assigned a specific coupon code with details outlined in the Dashboard. Usage of both an affiliate link and coupon code in a purchase will not result in double commission. Only affiliates assigned a branded coupon are authorized to promote it.

Affiliates are permitted to promote our website on online channels such as Facebook, Instagram, as well as offline mediums like classified ads, magazines, and newspapers.

3. Commissions and Payments

When you refer a customer to make a purchase on our website, you'll receive a commission based on the Commission structure. Commissions are calculated on the order value, excluding additional fees (tax, shipping, etc.).

To receive commissions, specify payment details in the Settings. The payment schedule will be communicated on the Affiliate Guide page.

Commissions will be paid out only for successfully completed transactions. The fair use policy empowers us to review each referral order. Commission status can be found in the Commission tab, and paid commissions will be listed in the Payment tab. No payment will be made for transactions resulting in chargebacks or refunds.

4. Marketing Tools

Marketing materials like banners, logos, and specific collection promotions can be accessed through the Marketing Tools tab. Download media or obtain HTML embed codes for sharing on affiliate platforms.

5. Network

If the Network tab is active, affiliates can invite others to become downline affiliates. When a downline affiliate brings orders to our shop, the upline affiliate receives network commissions based on merchant settings.

To invite affiliates, share the network link, and anyone who clicks and signs up becomes a downline affiliate.

6. Cookie

Cookies are used to track users who click on your link. If a user doesn't accept or clears cookies, their activity can't be tracked, and earnings won't be paid for it.

The cookie duration is specified during Affiliate registration. The tracking starts when a customer clicks on the affiliate's link or uses the coupon. Within the cookie duration, every order by this customer on our website automatically generates commissions for the affiliate (no need for the customer to click the link again).

7. Removal from Referral Program

If you wish to leave the affiliate program, contact us at kuyulighter@gmail.com.

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our privacy practices, operational procedures, or due to legal or regulatory requirements. By continuing to participate in our affiliate program after such revisions are posted, you acknowledge your consent to the updated policy.

Personal Information Controller

Any personal information provided to or collected by UpPromote under this Privacy Notice will be stored and managed by UpPromote (the data controller).

Information Collected from Merchants

When a merchant utilizes the app, certain types of information are automatically accessed from your Shopify account, including email, first name, last name, and shop details (such as shop domain, shop currency, shop address, etc.). This information is collected to provide Services, such as identity verification, customer support, and advertising and marketing activities.

Information Collected from Affiliates

When an Affiliate signs up for a program, we gather certain information to inform merchants, such as email, personal information, payment details, and social network information. This information assists merchants in assessing affiliate backgrounds, potential, and managing specific activities within the app, along with facilitating communication with affiliates if necessary.

Information Collected from Customers When Visiting Merchant Websites

To track referral orders, when customers visit merchant websites and make purchases, the UpPromote system collects order-related information, including total order amount, order items, and order ID.

About Cookies

"Cookies" are data files placed on devices or computers, often containing an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are created when a user's browser loads a specific website. The website sends information to the browser, creating a text file. Upon revisiting the website, the browser retrieves and sends this file to the website's server.

Information Sharing

Use of UpPromote App by Children

UpPromote is not intended for use by children. If you are under 13 years of age, you may utilize the affiliate marketing system only under parental or guardian supervision.

UpPromote acknowledges your rights over your personal information and endeavors to facilitate access, correction, amendment, deletion, portability, or restriction of personal information. For affiliates seeking to exercise these rights, please directly contact the merchant you engaged with. We function as processors on their behalf and can forward your request to them for response.
